She will take part in intense training at Chulalongkorn University, including active hands-on training in a conflict zone and in a post-conflict zone.
She will be using her time there to focus on WPS/Indigenous relations and when she returns will be sharing and implementing new ideas and strategies within the WPS in the coming year to strengthen their relationship with the Indigenous community.
The course is sponsored by Rotary International.
Bonnie Emerson is Metis and is a 25 year veteran to WPS.
