SAREX Marine Rescue Search and Rescue personal team up with the Canadian Coast Guard and Canadian Forces in Gimli Wednesday to perform a mock rescue of a fishing vessel with a trauma victim (with eyeball out of socket) on board their vessel. The SARTech responders had to parachute from a hercules airplane into Lake Winnipeg near the stranded boat and climb aboard their vessel to accomplish their mission.
