Cathy Hurd and Tom Carter have been together for 16 years. Last year Tom was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a disease that will eventually take Tom's life. This past Valentines weekend photographer Mike Deal spent an afternoon with them talking about love and their relationship. Whenever Cathy and Tom go to The Forks they get mini-donuts as a treat.
