At right, Glenn McMurdo, a wildfowl sculptor from Cobourg, Ontario with students John Frye (centre) and Ron Pozernick during his three day duck painting workshop held at Lee Valley Tools. Glenn is a world renown duck carver and will be judging at the 28th annual Prairie Canada Carving Championship and show April 5 & 6 held at the Canad Inns Polo Park. The 2014 competition is expected to draw 300 hand-crafted carvings and turnings of wood, bone, stone and antler from 100-plus carvers from Ontario, the Prairie Provinces and adjoining States.
