One of the best rated climbers in the province, Guian Gumpac, 17, participates with fellow Winnipeg rock climbers as they attempt  to set a new Guinness World Record Saturday by climbing the height of Mount Everest on an indoor wall faster than anyone has ever done it. This attempt is part of a charity event called Climb for Kids a 24-hour climb-a-thon to raise money for Kidsport Winnipeg.  
Update:  The Vertical Adventures' team celebrate breaking the World Record for fastest team to climb the height of Mt. Everest on an indoor wall! They killed it-3:27.10 beating it by just under an hour.
