This week Shaftesbury is having a fundraising event in order to raise money for Cancer Care Manitoba. There will be different events all week, with the headline being “Brave the Shave” event today. Almost 20 participants are willing to shave their head in order to raise money, and show their support. There have been multiple staff members at our school that have fought cancer in the past three years. Students and staff have came together at Shaftesbury to fight with them in their battles.
