CMHR and displays about aborigional atrocities to illustrate - CMHR WHISTLEBLOWER: A former curator at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights says she was ordered to limit negative stories about missing and murdered indigenous women and the state of aboriginal child welfare and remove the term “genocide” from any indigenous exhibits. In a sharply worded chapter in a new academic book, Tricia Logan, who served as the CMHR’s curator of indigenous content for three years, says the museum is “a model of complacency and promotion of the status quo.” This is not the first time she’s written such things. Last year, she wrote a chapter for a book to be published by the U of M. When the museum got wind of it, she was forced to withdraw the chapter. 15 inches. Box of pull quotes. CAN ALSO POST ONLINE EARLY, WITH A PDF OF HER ¤ARTICLE. See Mary Agnes story. May 6, 2015 - (Phil Hossack / Winnipeg Free Press)
