Photo description:
Serge Tamba opens up shade umbrellas at Regale de l'Afrique's kiosk, one of Three seasonal kiosks designed to look like horse-drawn trams from the early 1900s open each summer on the Plaza area at the east end of the Esplanade Riel bridge. Enterprises Riel, the economic development agency for the local French community, sets the kiosks up each year for the summer. Its tourism arm operates a tourist information centre out of one, and the the other two are food kiosks. One sells house-made frozen treats and the other features African cuisine.
