The February sale of the Children’s Hospital Book Market kicks of tomorrow, Thursday February 4th at St. Vital Centre. Over 65 categories from fiction, science, children’s and more are up for unbelievable deals. ”Our volunteers work tirelessly knowing that they are making a difference in the lives of sick and injured children”, states Carol Irving, Children’s Hospital Book Market Coordinator. “Support of the Children’s Hospital Book Market allows for programs like the Book Corner, CHTV – the internal Children’s Hospital commercial free television station and the Family Resource library to continue for many years to come.”  From Thursday, February 4th to Saturday, February 6th, The Children’s Hospital Book Market will have tables stacked with books ready for sale at St. Vital Centre. Volunteers have sorted each book – s?ports books, personal development, recent university texts, biographies, mystery, young adult and cookbooks are just some of the 65 categories available. E?ach book sold helps the Children’s Hospital Book Market meet their goal of raising $500,000 through book sales this year. Come out and help them reach their goal! “Community assistance is crucial for ensuring our children get the best care possible for a brighter future,” states Lawrence Prout, President & CEO, Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. “By coming to St. Vital Centre and purchasing a book, you are contributing to these important support services that will bring comfort to sick children and their families during difficult times.” The Book Market is open during regular St. Vital Centre hours.
