BORIS MINKEVICH / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Hockey Hall of Famer Dale Hawerchuk, played for the NHL for 16 seasons and was recently named Alumni Winnipeg Jets captain for the Hockey Heritage Classic 2016. Mark Scheifele, left, a Winnipeg Jets first round draft pick in 2011, is a rising star and Sport Ambassador for the Winnipeg charity KidSport. Both shared their perspectives on sport, their early influences, and most memorable experiences on the ice. TSNs Sara Orlesky hosted the interview. The event will have Hawerchuk and Scheifele address Dakota Collegiate students at the afternoon school assembly.
