Compact touch-tone consoles, the type being operated by Bob Nelson (left) of MTS, have replaced the former cord-type switchboard used by operators. The equipment being operated by Peter (right) of Northern Electric Co. Ltd, is located in the telephone system premises at Portage Ave. East. April 29, 1969
