BORIS MINKEVICH / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS STANDUP - 16 year old Lukas Neustaedter practices some trick skiing at Lake Shirley Water Ski Park (A man-made lake built for the 1999 Pan American Games used for water ski events as well as dragon boat races, 365 Murdock Road in South Transcona.) He has been a competition water skier for 5 years and started skiing at the young age of 2. He is part of Team Manitoba with 6 other members. The team is training for the Western Canadian Water Ski Championships in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan that happens this weekend. Last year he places second overall at the Western Canadian Water Ski Championships. This year Manitoba is host to the 2016 Canadian National Water Ski Championships next month. July 27, 2016
