WAYNE GLOWACKI / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Senator Murray Sinclair, former chair of Canadas Truth and Reconciliation Commission launched Orange Shirt Day-Every Child Matters to take place on Sept. 30th, to honour residential school survivors and respect for all children. The Senators address took place during a full day of Indigenous Awareness Training for staff and executive at The Manitoba Teachers Society Friday. ¤Orange Shirt Day is in its fourth year nationally to promote awareness of residential school history and its core message is that Every Child Matters.
