MIKE DEAL / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS World War Two veteran Gordon Herd has been a part of the Manitoba Follow Up Study since the 1940s. The study has followed more than 3,800 young healthy men who entered the air force during the Second World War through their lives by checking with their blood pressure, EKG, etc. Gordon is one of 250 or so who are still alive. These are photos from his family album which date back to when he was a small child, he is 91-years-old now.
