Bug Day is Manitobas largest healthcare education event, and is hosted by the Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg in collaboration with the University of Manitobas Continuing Professional Development Medicine Group. Experts from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, Manitoba Health, National Microbiology Laboratory, Public Health Agency of Canada and the University of Alberta gave presentations for the prevention and control of communicable diseases, as well as health issues in the community or healthcare setting.
