Brandon Sun 10042011 Flames leap from the pan as Carson Robertson of Red River Collegiate cooks flambéed steak Diane during the Manitoba Skills Restaurant Service competition at Assiniboine Community College's north hill campus on Sunday afternoon. Four ACC Hotel and Restaurant Management students and four RRC counterparts competed in the all day provincial competiton for a shot at representing Manitoba at the Skills Canada Competition in Quebec City in June. The competition included linen handling, bartending, dining room service, table-side cooking, wine service and wine identification. The main component was the table side luncheon service.
