Burrell, a returned wireless air gunner, circling over Selkirk in a Norseman plane of No. S Wireless school. Left to right, Pilot Officers H. E. Brownhili, Halifax. N.S.: E. W. Right, two of the first group of girl signals officers of the R.C.A.F., training at the Tuxedo school, Officer Cadets Neil Ross, Vancouver (left), and Louise Le Clair, North Hustico. P.E.I., operate the VHF (Very High Frequency) transmitter at No. 3 Wireless school. The girls previously qualified- as ground wireless operators at No. 1 Wireless school. Montreal.
