WAYNE GLOWACKI / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Traffic was moving slowly past road construction on Pembina Highway at Stafford St. Thursday morning and the City announced the northbound and southbound Pembina Highway lanes between Jubilee Avenue and Stafford Street will be completely closed this weekend. This section of Pembina Highway will be completely closed to vehicular traffic starting at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19 until 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23 for construction of the Southwest Rapid Transitway (Stage 2) project and Pembina Highway widening.
