This in one of the nine Lets Chip In Depot locations in Winnipeg that are now open until January 31, 2018. Trees placed at the curb next to recycling or garbage carts will not be collected. Winnipeg residents recycled 9,414 trees last season. By keeping Christmas trees out of the landfills helps reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions. Dec. 27 2017
