Thiessen is the first to take a dog home, (Smoothie,) for a staycation. The Winnipeg Humane Society is launching a dog "staycation" which allows the public to apply to take a dog home for a few hours, a day or a weekend to spend time with them, play with them and take them for lots of walks and then return them afterward.
