Standup photo
Myrna Driedger, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly (Centre, black/white), looks over a group of photos along with other past women members elected as MLA's, at the official unveiling of Women Trailblazers who became members of the MLA in the first 100 years, in the hallway at the Legislative building Tuesday.

More info:
The special project called “You can’t be what you can’t see.” See Her, Be Her” was to honour the first 100 years since the passage of legislation granting women the right to vote on January 28, 1916 till January 28th, 2016. In that time period only 51 women
were elected to the Manitoba Legislative Assembly as MLAs and only a small number have served as Officers of the Legislative Assembly. This wall honours, celebrates and uplifts the achievements of 18 women who were/are in positions traditionally held by men or who have worked to forge new pathways for women.
