The event kicked off the 2018 War Amps Western Child Amputee (CHAMP) Seminar at The Victoria Inn Friday. More Info: The envelope honours The War Amps as an important part of Canada’s history and highlights its significant achievements, as well as the amputee veterans who founded and shaped the Association. Running August 24 to 26, the Seminar is a life-changing experience for “Champs” and their parents, covering everything from raising a child amputee, to dealing with teasing and staring, to seeing the latest developments in artificial limbs.
