Members of the Winnipeg Police Service, who volunteered to cycle in the Cops for Kids Relay Team, assemble themselves at the start of their True Grit Tour, a 3000 km bike ride to Tucson, Arizona, at WPS Headquarters Monday. This is the 12th tour the WPS has been involved in and this year 20 WPS members volunteered to cycle in the event. The group left WPS Headquarters together cycling to the south edge of city where the 1st relay team started the beginning leg of the journey from St. Norbert Monday. All money raised from the tours go directly to granting the Wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses through The Childrens Wish Foundation. It is with limitless courage and bravery that these children face daily or lifetime treatments along with the reality that their life may be unfortunately cut short. September 10/18
