Some of the aprox. 80 women, some with assistants head out of the Winnipeg Convention Centre Friday to take part in the "Runaway Brides" scavenger hunt throughout downtown Winnipeg. The bride first back with the four items from the clues wins a Dream Wedding at Southwood Golf & Country Club valued at more than $20,000. The brides wore borrowed gowns or purchased them at second hand shops for the event presented by 103.1 Virgin Radio, The Wonderful Wedding Show, and Southwood Golf & Country Club.
