Photo description:
SHANNON VANRAES / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Serena Zeid, a Grade 6 student at Isaac Brock School, enjoys the space created by the School Street Project, a pilot program and collaborative effort by the The Green Action Centre and the City of Winnipeg, by drawing with chalk. The first of its kind in Manitoba, the project involves closing the street in front of schools to vehicles for a few hours each day, giving students more space to walk, bike and play while maintaining physical distance.
