RUTH BONNEVILLE / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS 49.8 Educating amidst VIRUS - THREE FAMILIES Family portrait of the Parenteau's, Anna Parenteau, Jason Parenteau and their two sons: Carter in Grade 4 and Josiah in Grade 12 (holding family dog - Mocha) in the doorway of their family home in Silver Heights. The Parenteaus have temporarily burst their homeschool bubble in order to stay safe. They are connecting with their cousins Kenny and MJ from afar/online and Carter is playing with them via online games like Minecraft. Before code red, the family was doing lots of land-based learning this year, hunting deer and learning to set snares for rabbits, etc. Carter has really enjoyed learning more about the land.
