MIKE DEAL / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Estelle Getty keeps an eye out for new friends from inside her cat room at Annie's Attic. Annie's Attic, Winnipeg's newest cat cafe/thrift shop, opens on Thursday. The venture is the brainchild of D'Arcy's Animal Rescue Centre, D'Arcy Johnston, and will help fund the shelter through the sale of second-hand items and food.
