Members of the Tigray and the neighbouring nation of Eritrea hold car rally with flags, banners and signs in down town Winnipeg over the lunch hour Monday to raise awareness of the atrocities of war happening in their region. The government of Ethiopia and the government of Eritrea are waging war on the civilians living in Tigray, and are forcibly starving the entire population of Tigray. Similar protest's have been held in other cities across Canada. Since November 4 there hasn’t been electricity, water, or food. The banks have been closed. All access to services have been restricted in Tigray to deliberately starve the population.” Tigray is the northernmost region of Ethiopia.
