MIKE DEAL / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Despite the heat of the noon-day sun, Neil Taylor does a little watering in his plot at the South Winnipeg Garden Club a community garden on the grounds of the St. Amant Centre Wednesday. According to the club website the gardens were originally started by the Grey Nuns around 1931 as a way to provide fresh vegetables for the residents of St.Amant. At over 3.2 acres it claims to be the largest garden in Winnipeg. 210630 - Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
