Designed by Cynthia Cohlmeyer, a Winnipeg landscape architect, it is a space of permanence, growth and resilience in which men and women alike could gather to look forward as well as to remember. The Women's Grove memorial has 14 sitting stones that represent the 14 women who were murdered at École Polytechnique in Montreal in 1989. Reporter: Ben Waldman
