Headingley RCMP investigate found human remains On August 7, 2021, at approximately 6:30 pm, Headingley RCMP responded to a report of found human remains along the shore of the Assiniboine River, near the intersection of Highway 26 and Provincial Road 248, in the RM of St Francois Xavier. With the assistance of RCMP Forensic Identification Services and an anthropology team, investigators are currently on site conducting a search of the area. The identity of the remains is unknown at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Aug 9th, 2021
