Community leaders planted 150 trees as part of the cities 1 Million Trees initiative. Mark Plickett came up with the idea to plant the trees nearly two years ago and reached out to Scott Gillingham, his local city councillor, but the plan was initially put on hold due to the COVID pandemic..
