Nepinak started riding his bike from Vancouver to Halifax on August 11 to raise awareness and money towards youth for Tataskweyak Cree Nation. He completed his trip, reaching Halifax on September 20, 2021. Tataskweyak has had 13 suicides in the community in the past year, with four of them in the last two months. Nepinak says, “Leadership has nothing to do with age, it has everything to do with action, intent and behaviour.”
