PHIL HOSSACK / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS - Earl Sobotkiewicz, former national bowling champion is hoping to turn his one-time home venuea six-lane alley underneath a 10-storey apartment building at the corner of Mountain and McGregorinto a success. The lane was opened by the Canadian German Society in 1986, and was once one of the busiest in the city. Earl Sobotkiewicz bought it in 2007 and redubbed it Bowl Below.
