Winnipeg Free Press News

Winnipeg Free Press Store
A convoy for freedom rolls out of Brandon Saturday morning. The protest was in support of truckers in Ottawa calling for an end to all public health measures. Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson said at a press conference Friday proof of vaccine requirements will expire March 1 with masking mandates to follow on March 15. Capacity limits will be outright eliminated for outdoor gatherings and indoor spaces such as restaurants, gyms, libraries, casinos, movie theatres and other entertainment venues. The convoy departed Brandon and visited Carberry, Sidney, Austin, MacGregor, Portage la Prairie, Gladstone, Neepawa and Minnedosa. (Chelsea Kemp/The Brandon Sun)
