While many of her peers at Churchill High school can ask their parents for support with homework, the 17-year-old needs to find it elsewhere because her mom doesn't know how to speak English.The senior student speaks Tigrinya, Arabic and English. “I can’t stress this enough, how important (the HEY community) is.
