RUTH BONNEVILLE / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Standup - Construction of Raw Almond Construction worker, Avi Waldman, works with a crew putting together the tube and clamp scaffolding which is the tent structure for Raw Almond restaurant Thursday. The crews have been busy working since Monday on the structure and assembling the kitchen and still have tarps to be put up as well as lots of detail work to get done before their Jan 26th opening. The tented dining room space will be about about 1,400 square feet when it's completed. Raw Almond pop-up restaurant on the Red River at the Forks has been dormant since 2019. The owner says that this year they have revamped its look and will have 22 star chefs from around the globe. Jan 12th, 2023
