The Canadian Forces display at the Red River Exhibition attracted a number of young people on Thursday, June 20, 2013, including three year old Matthew Dolan who shielded his ears from the siren blast aboard one of the military's rigid hulled inflatable boats (also known as an RHIB). According to naval Chief Joanne Legge, the display is intended as an educational tool moreso than a recruiting effort. (ELIZABETH FRASER) (JESSICA BURTNICK/WINNIPEG FREE PRESS)
