23032023 Kenya Erickson and Johanna Ruchotzke wait in line for roller-skates during Roller Disco at the Sportsplex Arena on Thursday evening. The Wheat City Roller derby League was on hand to rent skates to interested roller-skaters without their own pair. Dozens of roller-skating enthusiasts were already in line before the event started and spent the event skating to music under the colourful lights and disco ball. (Tim Smith/The Brandon Sun)
