Golden Boy Bistro, 1969 Main St. (former home of Blondie's) with owners - contact Nikhil & Kiran Story: Nikhil & his wife Kiran took over the former Blondies locale in January. It only took seven coats of paint to mask the writing on the walls. Nikhil studied cooking in his native India - the couple moved to Winnipeg about 7 years ago - he worked in a few restaurants before operating a food truck, Feastro Beastro, for a few years. Photos Nikhil turning out the Golden Boy's signature burger and fries. Also photos inside the restaurant with Nikhil & his wife Kiran in its new bright white and red decor and outside the restaurant with their open sign.
