Red River College Polytechnic community named, today, April 13th, 2023 as the first official Turban Day in Manitoba during the month of April which is Sikh Heritage Month. The event invited anyone at the college to learn about Sikh culture by picking out material and having a member wrap it on their head into a turban that they can wear with pride.

Sikh Heritage month is now celebrating its fifth year and is a way for students from India to share the importance of the turban with the RRC Polytech community.
