ANTI-RACISM TEACHING: The Canadian Museum of Human Rightsՠteacher-in-residence is launching a new anti-racism resource for middle years educators this week. Sarah Adomako-Ansah, originally from Edmonton, has created a resource called Ԑass the Mic: Letճ Talk About Racismՠduring her stint at the CMHR. The resource profiles three BIPOC Canadians: an Olympian based in Edmonton, a Bhangra dancer based in the Yukon, and a drag performer based in Montreal Ѡsharing their experiences with racism through video interviews. It then connects each video with a series of lesson plans about concepts like bias, privilege, intersectionality, allyship, and more, and prompts them to translate that learning into action.
