Photo description:
15062023 Molly Kelleher, manager of Elkhorn Riding Adventures, swims with her quarter horse Ice in Clear Lake in Riding Mountain National Park on an early morning last week. Ice, a sixteen-year-old barrel racing horse, tore a tendon in his front right leg last summer and has been rehabilitating for the past year. According to Kelleher, swimming has played an important part in Ice’s rehab which has also included stem cell therapy and shockwave therapy. (Tim Smith/The Brandon Sun)
