A rooster was one of the two free-roaming birds to survive a rampage that killed 14 birds and one rabbit, and possibly two kittens, after two dogs dug under a fence to gain access to the animals on Wednesday morning. Volunteers say the rooster was able to fly up onto the barn roof to escape the attack. (Miranda Leybourne/The Brandon Sun)
