RUTH BONNEVILLE / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS INTERSECTION (Ruth) Photo of Lisa Laferty, with her rock garden at 720 Fairmont Rd (Charleswood, This is for an Intersection piece on Winnipeg Kindness Rock Gardens, a Facebook group devoted to home rock gardens/libraries that act in the same manner as those little libraries, full of books. Basically, people set up rock gardens in their yard - some in a garden, others in treasure chests or shelving units - and others are welcome to drop by, to collect a rock, while leaving one behind, sort of idea. A "thing" across North America Nancy-Tina (first on list) started the group in the summer of 2020. Maggie (second) was one of the first to join in, and there are now close to 150 little rock libraries thru-out the city.
