A member of the Korean community in Winnipeg places a candle at the Korea War memorial monument at Brookside Cemetery. A candle light service was held by the Korea Veterans Association on Saturday, July 27, 2013 to mark the 60th anniversary of the Korean War ceasefire. The service also recognized the designation of 2013 as The Year of the Korea War Veteran by the Canadian government.
