24052024 Farmer Nathan Kowbel ties fence for cattle in a field along Highway 10 with his wife Kate (not shown) near their farm north of Brandon during flurries on a wet, snowy and cool Friday. The Kowbel's grow crops in addition to raising cattle and have seeded about 800 acres so far this season but their seeding has been slowed by recent wet weather. (Tim Smith/The Brandon Sun)
