Curator Sylvie Lacerte at WAG-Qaumajuq where a new exhibit is being installed, Riopelle: Crossroads in Time. The exhibit is part of the the centennial celebration of Riopelle’s birth and many of his acclaimed works will be on display alongside creations rarely or never seen before, including sculptures, prints, collages, and figurative drawings. Riopelle’s influence with other artists will be on display as well, selected works by artists – both his contemporaries and some working today – who represent a broad range of cultural and aesthetic perspectives.
