Story: 49.8 Under One Roof: Multi-generational living in Winnipeg Case study: David and Janet Rheault welcomed David’s 88yo mother Jeannette into their home three years ago when she needed full-time care due to medical reasons. At that time the couple’s children – Meagan, Matthew and Joshua – were all still living at home, so there six people across three generations, living under one roof. Megan has since married and moved out. Group photos of 5 members of the family,, family room that has been converted into a dining room and puzzle room. As well, pics of Jeannette’s living area upstairs, which has been converted from two bedrooms into one big suite with a living area and a sleeping area. And, pics of the bathroom,which has been renovated to accommodate Jeannette’s needs, and the stairlift, which the couple installed so Jeannette would have her own space upstairs.
