Lyons is a fiber artist who works with wool and yarn. She has collected more than 200 kinds of wool from different breeds of sheep from all over the world although, for reasons of sustainability, she prefers working with wool from sheep which are bred in Canada. She is putting the finishing touches to her life-size wool and yarn bison head which will be suspended from a fence or tree at the Prairie Outdoor Exhibit in this year's Folk Fest.
